Objectives : integration of electronic components (sensors, actuators, power supplies, data transmission system) to fabric structures

Description of Work

Sensors, actuators, data processing units and power supplies will be integrated to determined suitable fabric structures having transmission lines using welding techniques with the
combination of other techniques such as embroidery, knitting, weaving, and sewing. The integrated electronics as well as whole electrical interface will be tested for signal quality and working performance using signal processing techniques.
Specific research tasks include:

Integration of electronic components to fabric structures (ITU-ENSAIT –TMET-UM-UMI)

2.
Testing of signal quality and working performances of e-textiles (ITU- ENSAIT-TMET)

ENSAIT
is the coordinator of the WP4. ITU, UM, UMI and TMET are responsible to contribute WP4. ITU, TMET and ENSAIT are the seconded staff.

Deliverables

Several fabric structures together with fully integrated electronics will be expected to be obtained (delivery month: up to 36 months).
